CME and Education Opportunities

At THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano, we understand that helping the physicians on our medical staff keep abreast of the latest guidelines, medical breakthroughs, and technologies is essential to our mission. Our relentless focus on quality makes us sought after both as an employer and as an educator.

We offer a variety of educational programs that are open to physicians - locally, across the country, and around the world. Each quarter the hospital hosts a surgeon's education course, during which we broadcast a surgery from one of our operating rooms down to our auditorium. Clinicians and other professional groups from China, Turkey, Dubai, and Australia have either attended our programs or visited our hospital to see first-hand what we have created here. We also welcome several international experts in cardiovascular medicine to promote the continuing growth and education of our team.

Our staff is a collaborative team exemplified in a recent survey conducted by Press Ganey_®, the nationally renowned quality improvement company focused on health care. In fact, 90 out of the 112 physicians from THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano who were surveyed responded with an overall workplace satisfaction score of 100% - the highest the organization had seen in two years. We take great pride in our work, and that extends to teaching as well, because it allows us to spread and multiply the passion that unites us.
